Our Thrift Shop is a community hub where youth, team members, volunteers, and community alike can gather to feel closer to the goodness of Youth Homes - not to mention find some unique treasures for an incredible deal! Shopping at Youth Homes Thrift Shop reduces your carbon footprint and helps support programs that empower foster youth and youth impacted by trauma.

Volunteer

We’re currently seeking Back Room & Front Room Volunteers. Click on the position to view the role descriptions, and reach out to daniellej@youthhomes.org if you’re interested in joining the team!

Donations

Do not leave donations at our front or back door. This incurs additional garbage fees on the shop which take away from the funds that go toward our critical youth programs.

Drive to Thrive

Hosting a donation drive is an easy way for your organization to make a difference! The Drive to Thrive kit contains everything you need to promote a donation collection drive to colleagues and the community.

The kit contains the following resources

  • Customizable social media post

  • Printable and customizable flyer

  • List of accepted donations

  • Six steps to a successful drive checklist

Sales of your gently used items will support enrichment programs, residential home maintenance, and critical mental health services for local youth in Contra Costa County.
