New Minivans = Happy Kids!

Thank You 2019 Hearts for Hope Supporters!

Thank you for your donations supporting Youth Homes at our 11th Annual Hearts for Hope fundraiser on October 19. YOU DID IT! You raised over $60,000 to purchase new minivans for two of our residential houses. We had two very surprised (and incredibly grateful!) residential supervisors when the keys were handed to them the following Monday Morning. Being driven around in these family-style vans will help youth feel like regular kids -- which normalizes foster youths’ experience while living our homes.

You Made a BIG Impact!
With your help, we also raised funds for our enrichment programs and flexible funds for Youth Homes to support the many programs that would not exist without donor support. For this we say, thank you! Your impact is felt throughout the organization – by the youth, employees, and board of directors.

As you continue with your days and weeks, following the event, we ask you to keep our foster youth superheroes in mind. In the words of our keynote speaker, Charity Chandler-Cole, they are adaptable, strong, and resilient youth, and it is our collective responsibility to help them succeed.
