NON-PROFIT PARTNERS

Grateful Gatherings

The Grateful Gatherings team partnered with Youth Homes to transform two residential houses into wonderfully furnished STRTP homes. Grateful Gatherings also supports our clients in the community with new furnishings and home supplies.

White Pony Express

Local food rescue agency, White Pony Express, supplies weekend treats and restaurant meals to residential homes. Youth Homes also uses their clothing warehouse which is packed full of new clothes for our clients.

The Taylor Family Foundation

TTFF donates gifts for youth in our community mental health programs.

Cake 4 Kids

Birthdays, holidays, and special events are celebrated with amazing, sweet treats thanks to the incredible bakers at Cake 4 kids. Youth pick the flavor and design of their cakes. It’s a luxury many of them have never had before.

Lafayette Community Foundation

Connecting the generosity of this community with nonprofits, programs and projects, Youth Homes has been the recipient of Lafayette Community Foundation’s Excellence Grant for our work in youth development.

Contra Costa Foster Friends

Contra Costa Foster Friends is a brick and mortar resource store full of clothing, toys, baby items, and self care products available to foster youth completely free of charge.

The Alliance of Therapy Dogs

Four legged furry friends are regular visitors to our monthly gatherings with our transition-age youth thanks to the kind network of handlers and their special pets at the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

Youth on Course

Youth on Course provides free access to the game of golf. In 2023 they provided 15 free passes to Youth Homes.

The Bay Area Bike Project

The Bay Area Bike Project has provided several of our clients with new bikes. They also provide cycling education and advocate for safe cycling communities.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

The Free to Learn program provides free admission for our youth to explore the aquarium’s world-class exhibits and breathtaking location all while supporting their program goals.

Trips for Kids

Trips for Kids provides under-served and historically marginalized groups with access to bikes, cycling programs, peer-to-peer engagement, role models and more.

Front Porch Music

Based in Lafayette, Front Porch Music has provided our clients with beautifully refurbished guitars, cases, chord sheets, and picks to facilitate the start of a new hobby and passion.

Mindful Littles

Mindful Littles utilizes compassion tactics to connect youth to each other and their communities. They work with young people and families to provide our youth with care bags, from party supplies to dental hygiene items.

California Academy of Sciences

With a discounted annual membership, our providers are able to frequently take clients to explore new exhibits at the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.

Guitars Not Guns

Guitars Not Guns provides new guitars and guitar lessons to our youth as an alternative to unhealthy behaviors.

Rebuilding Together

Performing essential repairs to help neighbors stay in their homes, Rebuilding Together makes repairs on our residential homes while educating other volunteer groups on how to do the same.

Cars2ndChance

The Clayton Valley/Concord and Lamorinda Sunrise Rotaries volunteer to give cars new life, sell them, and donate the proceeds to local nonprofits. Click here to begin the process of donating your old car to benefit Youth Homes.

Rusty Halo Foundation

Rusty Halo Foundation provides equine therapy at a heavily discounted rate to all of our residential youth and some of the youth in our community mental health programs, allowing them to experience the healing power of horses.

Contra Costa Interfaith Council

This group made up of diverse religions, traditions, and spirituality donates new mattresses, kitchen items, and more to our clients.

Alamo Women’s Club

The Alamo Women’s Club supports Youth Homes with scholarships for students, workshops, and fulfilling individual client needs as they arise.

National Chairty League

Mothers and daughters from NCL- Rolling Hills Chapter volunteer at the Youth Homes Thrift Shop and supply sweet treats for our monthly gatherings.

Boys Team Charity

Boys and their parents from Lamorinda and Danville painted, built swings, and cleared yards at our residential homes.

Pledge to Humanity

Youth and families in the Pledge to Humanity program supply move out kits for youth aging out of care and into independent living. They also support needs as they arise.

Rotary

Youth Homes partners with many Rotary clubs. They are the source of our home maintenance volunteer team and provide scholarships and funding to our programs.

Kiwanis

Members of the Kiwanis volunteer to keep our landscape in tip top shape and assist with projects in our residential homes

CPR Life Skills

Marlene Mirabella of CPR Life Skills provides our team with incredible, comprehensive trainings on CPR, first aid, AED, Narcan, and so much more to ensure we all know how to keep our youth and each other safe.

Spaige Creations

Owned by a former Youth Homes clients, Spaige Creations on Etsy sells handcrafted jewelry made with passion and love, but even better - they donate 5% of their sales back to Youth Homes!

St. Perpetua School

This faith-filled TK-8 school purchased, wrapped, and delivered holiday gifts for all clients in our community mental health programs (nearly 200 youth!).

I Heart Art

Our Thrift Shop neighbors and partners in all things artistic and creative, I Heart Art allows us to use their studio space for community mental health events and provides our youth with creative instruction and art supplies.

Pacific Credit Union

The team at Pacific Credit Union provide annual grants for our programs, purchase gift cards during the holidays, and sponsor events and fundraisers.

Marsh McLennan

The Marsh McLennan team have sent volunteers into our homes and sponsor events and fundraisers.

During the renovation of our homes, Sherwin Willaims donated all paint for free.

Dolans Lumber

Local lumber yard, Dolans lumber donates wood for our residential improvements.

Whether it’s a stump grinder, a trailer, or a weed whacker, Cresco Rentals in Pleasant Hill provides free tools and equipment for our projects.

Aaron Barbour and the team at Barbour Painting painted our Thrift Shop free of charge, they also help us with homes repairs as needed.

EJR Group has lent their project management expertise during the remodel of our Cherry Lane and Andersen residential homes.
