Enrichment Program

Offering youth of all backgrounds new experiences in safe settings.

We can all resonate with trying something new that ignites a fire inside us and makes us feel excited for the future. Through our Enrichment Program, our young people step out of the typical therapeutic environment to learn and heal through play.

You make these dreams (and so many more) a reality

  • Outdoor adventures

Fishing on the San Francisco Bay, snowboarding on Boreal Mountain, mountain biking through China Camp, kayaking in Tomales Bay

  • Art therapy

Youth learn self-expression and self-soothing skills while learning new art forms and making creations they can be proud of

  • Educational trips and activities

Monterey Bay Aquarium, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, cooking classes, financial literacy workshops

  • Movie days

Youth get together to watch a movie and do some activities surrounding emotions, mental health, family dynamics, and more while working on their teamwork and social skills

  • Client's unique passions

Gardening, equine therapy, music lessons, gym memberships, jiu jitsu, yoga, baking, pottery making - and those are just a few!

“Day trips to Monterey Bay Aquarium give me the chance to work with my kiddos during a much longer time frame, where we’re able to create a deeper connection and work on skills we may not normally be able to.”

- William Lowery, Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist

“One client in particular literally snapped out of his depressive state because of a rafting trip he went on. Nature is super important to mental health, and clients with depression just isolate and don't get out. Enrichment trips really give them a good reason to get out and they don't have to do any of the planning or work, they just have to show up and have fun.”

- Bianka Lieb, Clinical Director of Community-Based Services
