After graduating with an undergrad degree in Psychology from San Diego State, Kendra went to Boston College to complete her Masters in Social Work. Before joining Youth Homes, she worked in a K-5 school doing therapy and social skills groups, a residential and day school program doing individual therapy, family therapy, dyadic therapy, and social skills groups, and as an in-home individual and family therapy and case management in Massachusetts.

She is passionate about being an advocate for those who cannot advocate and speak for themselves. She’s happy to be able to be a small part of her clients' lives and journeys and to bear witness to their growth and progress.

In her spare time, she likes to exercise, spend time with family and friends, and binge-watch reality TV!
