Introducing Youth Homes' New CEO, Cameron Safarloo

Please join us in welcoming Cameron Safarloo to the Youth Homes’ team.

Greetings Youth Homes Community,

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as Youth Homes new Chief Executive Officer.

For the past 25 years I have worked within the for-profit and nonprofit industries where I held numerous leadership roles-- most recently, the Chief Operating Officer at Cure Violence, a global organization headquartered in Chicago, IL. These experiences are already proving to be a valuable resource in furthering our organization’s relevance, flexibility, and responsiveness to the needs of our clients, staff, and stakeholders--especially right now as we navigate operating under the county shelter-in-place order.

During my interview process, I was moved by the safe and enriching environment that has been created to support youth in our care. Additionally, Youth Homes' trauma-informed approach and the deep commitment and passion demonstrated by staff, has greatly inspired me. I see my selection as the CEO of Youth Homes as an honor and I am ready for the challenge to lead the organization forward in this time of change and opportunity. 

Thank you for your continued support of Youth Homes, especially during this current uncertain time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I look forward to a time soon where we can meet in person and expand my knowledge of this incredible organization. I am honored to be a part of this dedicated community that empowers youth and young adults to live to their fullest potential.
