The young people who come into the care of Youth Homes often have no idea about the incredible support community they’re joining – but they quickly find out. Youth Homes continues to prioritize enrichment because we know how critical it is for youth healing. It is a known fact that youth learn through play, and this year we’ve watched our clients express themselves, learn social skills, explore their passions, and realize just how capable they are through the enrichment opportunities they’ve had with Youth Homes.

At the heart of Youth Homes programming is the insistence that our youth deserve to thrive, not just survive, as part of their growth and healing.

The Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) specialists are do-it-all problem solvers, working tirelessly alongside various professional team members, parents, caregivers, and foster parents to help their clients "graduate."

In TBS language, to graduate means the client of the program has successfully met the goal to reduce the behaviors that were harmful to themselves and/or the people around them. William Lowery and Nikki Reyes are two of our Youth Homes' TBS specialists.

Ryan began his journey with Youth Homes after being removed from an abusive and neglectful home. After a year of being in residential treatment, Ryan was ready for a foster family and was placed with Amy.
